A man and a woman who reside in Barking are due in court this morning charged with murdering a minicab controller in Stratford, London.
Nargis Riaz, 22, and 22-year-old Gulam Choudhury are charged with murdering Mohammed Yasser Afzal on March 21 2014.
They were set to appear for a plea and case management hearing at the Old Bailey earlier today.
Riaz, of Fanshawe Avenue, Barking, pleaded innocent to all charges on September 15 while Choudhury, of Heenan Close, Barking, has not entered a plea yet.
Mr Afzal, was working at E20 Cars in Stratford Broadway when he was stabbed in the neck by the killer.
He died in the hospital later that evening.
